HP SIM account locks out intermittently
I am using HP SIM 5.3 spk 1.HP SIM and its SQL database were installed using a Domain account.This account was created specifically for HP SIM.Its password was set to never change.
The account is also set up in the Discovery Protocols the idea being that as its a domain account it would be able to log on to discovered servers.The account was set up about a year and a half ago.Its password has never been changed.
Since March the account gets locked out intermittently.The result being the database fails and HP SIM will not email us alerts until the account is unlocked.
I am not aware of any changes being made.
Does any one have any idea how I would go about troubleshooting this problem.
Do discovered servers try to log on to the HP SIM using the HP SIM account if it is set up in Discovery Protocols.
