HP SIM and MITEL MIBS
I am trying to get HP SIM to recognize the MITEL mibs so that when a MITEL 3300 controller sends a trap, the HP SIM will recognize it. Has anyone successfully done this?
I can see the trap show up in SIM as a generic unregistered trap but I would like it to translate it so it means something. In SIM I can see the trap details as follows:
Enterprise OID string. value: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1027.1.2.3
Generic Trap ID. value: 6
Specific Trap ID. value: 301
Has anyone sucessfully configured SIM to work with MITEL 3300 controllers? If so what am I doing wrong, I have compiled all the mibs, some failed, but according to the OID they aren't the ones that this trap refers to. I believe for this trap I need the Mitel-mib.mib and the mitelipera3000mib.mib file. The latter is the only one that has 301 defined in the cfg file after the mcompile and mxmib -a command succeed. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
I am running HP SIM 6.3
