HP SIM and pro active hardware monitoring

I look for a document with the information which type of hardware components (cpu, Smart Array Controller, etc...) can be pro active monitored by HP SIM.

Can anybody tell me where I can find such type of document.

HPSIM doesn't monitor those, the agents on the server do and they then send SNMP Traps to HPSIM if a fault is detected.

You need to look at the server documentation and then the documentation on the HP Agents. It can vary with the OS, hardware model etc.
