HP SIM email notification

I have a HPSIM server along with some other Windows and HP 9000 servers on my network. I have an Exchange server running on a DL380 G3.

My problem is, I cannot forward ANY email noticatifation to ANY domain outside mine. All event notifiactions goes to the local mail box within my network. I can SEND RECEIVE and FORWARD emails locally and to ANY outside mail server from the Windows Exchange server.

Is there someting I'm forgetting or ...?

Re: HP SIM email notification

Sounds like that's an Exchange config issue.
You generally need to tell Exchange that certain servers are allowed to use it to relay messages out beyond it's domain. You'' need to get the HPSIM Server added to that list.
Typically all internal servers are allowed to use the exchange server to deliver local mail.

Relayed e-mail can also be blocked at other points in the network as well.
