HP SIM login issue after new HP SIM install and restore of old database over new database
Upgraded from HP SIM 5.0 sp2 to HP SIM 5.1.
Was suggested by HP support that after the install, we could restore old database from old version over the newly created database.
I have went through the "First Time Wizard" and setup the users to be able to access the new HP SIM. Then had done the restore of old database version 5.0 sp2 over new database created when installed HP SIM 5.1.
Right after the restore I am not able to login in the HP SIM anymore. None of the accounts would work, neither the local admin account.
Wonder if there is a table somewhere in the SQL database that contains the users.
Or if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Seb

Re: HP SIM login issue after new HP SIM install and restore of old database over new database
Ended up starting from scratch, removing the HP SIM and reinstalling.
