HP SIM logon issue - removed myself from admins
Hi all,
I made a stupid mistake and removed the domain admins group from SIM managers. I was sure I was specified in particular, but I was wrong and now I can't log in to the system.
How can I reset the access list to the system or add myself to the access list?
I do have full permissions on the windows server itself.
Thanks,
Leonid

Re: HP SIM logon issue - removed myself from admins
Try logging into the Sims console as the account you installed it under. It should be an administrative account with full rights to the CIM server. Under that logon, you should be able to put yourself back in.

Re: HP SIM logon issue - removed myself from admins
Thanks for the advice.
Actually, you where quite close to the solution.
Apperantly, the local windows administrator has privileges to login the system. I logged on as admin and added myself to the full rights groups.
10x for the advice.
Leonid
P.S.
The account I installed it under was not in the list (did I remove it maybe?).
