HP SIM task Hardware Status Polling for Servers
Hi
I have installed the hpsim in one domain and I'm monitoring system from others domains.
I can discovery the system from other domain without problem with SNMP and WBEM protocol. I have disable the HTTP and WS-MAN.
When this task run every five minutes some machine in other domain give me this error in security log:
Logon attempt by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0
Logon account: ComputerName$
Source Workstation: ComputerName
Error Code: 0xC0000064
Logon Failure:
Reason: Unknown user name or bad password
User Name: ComputerName$
Domain: Domain Name
Logon Type: 3
Logon Process: NtLmSsp
Authentication Package: NTLM
Workstation Name: COmputerName
Caller User Name: -
Caller Domain: -
Caller Logon ID: -
Caller Process ID: -
Transited Services: -
Source Network Address: IP from HPSIM server
Source Port: 59397
I have the last version of HPSim 7.2 with the last patch's.
In the task if I disable the SNMP and WBEM this error disappear.
From HPSIM I can contact the system by WMI without problem and receive the SNMP traps from the client.
In the credentials I have setup local administration account that exist in all servers.
Can someone help me?
Regards.
