HP Sim Agents for Linux/ESX
Is there a way to exclude certain nic cards and unmanage them from the HP SIM agents?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Can you be more specific?

Re: HP Sim Agents for Linux/ESX
Hi.
Maybe I have the same problem:
We have ESX Servers with 2 or 3 dualport NICs.
Not all NIC Ports are already connected to the network. So they show up als "link failure" and system status "major" in SIM.
I would like to disable the monitoring of these unused ports (in Windows this can be done by disabling the connection.
Thanks,
Martin.

Re: HP Sim Agents for Linux/ESX
I figured it out thanks by putting a loopback in the nic cards I don't need to prevent any link down alerts.
