HP Sim Customer Contact Information
Has anyone experienced an issue when you update the customer contact information for a managed server within sim it overwrites other managed systems even though I only select one node?
I am eperiencing this using the command line tool as well as the set system properties option.
Is there a command I can run to initiate a database integrity check?
My version information is listed below.
any help would be apprecitated.
Windows 2003
Version: Systems Insight Manager 5.1 with SP1 - Windows
Build version: C.05.01.00.02
Build date: 2007-04-11 17:26
Patches: HOTFIX51_001.jar Wed, 1/31/2007, 10:28 AM EST
HOTFIX51_003.jar Fri, 2/9/2007, 7:20 AM EST
thanks in advance

Re: HP Sim Customer Contact Information
Actually that is the way it does work. If there is a customer with the same name in the database, and you update another system with the same customer name then all systems with that customer name are updated. I suggest have something like customer at if you need to uniquely set this.
Same goes for contacts, the first and last name of a contact are used to uniquely identify that contact.

I work for HPE.
