HP Sim and Oracle 10

Greetings, I have installed Oracle 10 on a system and now trying to installed HP Sim V5 , but the system reports unnable to find local database ,you are given the database configuration option, I select to use oracle, but dont know what .jar file to use, any one with some advice, thanks, the operating system on Windows 2003 Server, thanks

hello dsmit,

typical install for HP SIM does not support an Oracle database.try custom install.

Hi, I installed HPSIM 5 on Oracle 9i a few days ago without problem... but on HP-UX... there was a command called mxoracleconfig I had to run before initializing with mxinitconfig. On HP-UX only 9i is supported not 10, I asked HP just in case and they said stick to 9 for the moment. Considering I'm on Unix that info may not be useful. Good luck.

Current SIM5 dows not support Oracle 10. We sill in near future release.
