Re: HP insight manager-Version Control

The Version Control Agent reports on the HP Software & Firmware installed on the server.
Used with the Version Control Repository Manager it can report on whether your server is up to date or not.

Re: HP insight manager-Version Control

You need install Version Conrol Repository Manager first (it can be installed only on Windows server), then enter it's address in version control agent.

But as far as i now, CentOS is not officially supported for PSP, so it might be problems to using VCA with it

Re: HP insight manager-Version Control

Do you have HP SIM installed anywhere?
Do you have the VCRM installed anywhere?

Without these the best you can do is browse to the server (https://myserver:2381/vcagent) or drop the vcagent to just get to the SMH.

You may also want to go to wwwhp.com/go/hpsim and start to do some research on HP SIM itself.
