HP service account "greyed out" during installation

Hi,

I'm trying to update HP SIM from 7.0 to 7.1.1 on a W2K8 R2 server and during the installation it's asking me for credentials. But these credentials are old. The HP SIM service is running with an other account. I can't change the credentials because they are "greyed out".

I tried to change the DB username -->"hp.Database.username=" in the \config\database.prop and i change the passsword with mxpassword -g. But the popup still shows the old account and is greyed out.

How can i change this after the update because it's our production server so i'm going ahead with the update. But i have to change the service account because the old account has to be removed. And i want to prevent future upgrades.

Can anybody help me with this ?

Re: HP service account "greyed out" during installation

Installation didnt work. I had to change the HP service account (in Windows services) into the old account with password. The installation went further from there.

How can i change this for future upgrades ?
