HPSIM 5.1 Reinstall - what do I need to change on the clients?

I just rebuilt our HPSIM server with the latest version, 5.1.
It is a different IP address and hostname than the previous hpsim server.
What files do I need to change on the LINUX clients?
Thanks!

SNMP will need to be changed. The Allowed Hosts and Trap destination will need to be updated.

If you're using the HP Agents and Trust By Certificate then you'll need to re-import the new certificate.

Rob,

Thanks! I thought I only needed to change /etc/snmpd.conf, but wanted to be sure.
I've included what I thought needed to be changed:
cat /etc/snmpd.conf

trapcommunity public
trapsink hpserver.domainname.com public
syscontact Sysadmin (root@localhost)
syscontact Sysadmin (root@localhost)

If this is not right, let me know.

Yep, on that file the xxx IP address for the HPServer and the Trapsink destination.

As mentioned though you may need to reimport the certificate if you're using trust by certificate.

If you've a lot of servers this can be a pain. The solution I've used is to create a new Baseline in the VCRM of just the SMH and reconfigure this with the new certificate and then redeploy that.
I've never tried it on Linux based hosts though .
