HPSIM 6.3 - running Enhanced Report locks out service account

Hi,

 

after migrating the database for HPSIM 6.3 we are still experiencing some problems with the Enhanced Reports and the "Frequently occurring Events" report. Running this report locks out the service account used to connect to the database and running the service.

 

I have completed the following tasks to migrate the database... almost...

* Changed all .props and .tpl files containing DB strings

* Changed all .XML files with leftover references to DB (JBoss)

* Changed all ODBC references

* Added a space to all report.xml files (this is something new even for me ;-)

* Executed mxinitconfig -a to rebuild bits and pieces

* Executed mxcheckdb to verify the new DB is used (verified logs as well)

* Executed mxrefreshconfig to refresh things inline

* Spattered chickens blood on my screen and scratched my keyboard with a lizards claw in hope that voodoo actually works

 

But still when executing this particular enhanced report (Frequently occurring events) the service account gets locked out. Looking at the DB server i see a EventID 4625 (Audit Failure) on the database server.

 

Any ideas of where to continue troubleshooting this is appreciated! This is driving me straight to the cukoo's nest!

I have the same issue but no solution...

we are still having this issue. ANy HP representatives in here that has a clue of how to solve this?

Meanwhile I opened a case at HP... I will let U all know what is the result of the debudding...

I seem to be having an alike problem on SIM 7.2 ( a new installation with local SQL express)

Everything works, but some reports lock the sim service account.
