HPSIM configured for detailed reports

I'm trying to set up our inventory management, and I can't locate directions for the best configuration on our servers to ensure the reports are populated with as much data as possible.

We predominantly use:
DL380 G2 / G3 / G4 / G5
BL20 G3 / G4
BL25p
BL460c
BL480c G1

I'm not bothering to include the non-HP gear, one step at a time.

I rely namely on HP SIM properly populating its "General" report for things such as
Server Name Domain IP Address ILO Address Serial # Product # Model OS CPU Memory Status

These all work fine as long as the system has replied and HP SIM has filled it all in. Unfortunately that's not always the case, and I would like a few pointers / direction to how to maximize the information the reports retrieve.
