HPSIM v5: SNMP trap Severity changed has no effect

I am receiving SNMP traps about "Tape Drive Cleaning Required (5008)". The default severity for this trap is "Critical". However, I am forwarding these traps based on severity (critical & major through SMS, other severities by email only).
I was trying to modify the severity of that Trap to Minor. In HPSIM v5 database, it seems to have recorded the change.
However, I still receive this trap by email and SMS with severity=Critical.

For some other traps, this change worked fine.

Why is it not working with this particular trap?

thanks

Re: HPSIM v5: SNMP trap Severity changed has no effect

From the SIM 5 readme

The traps listed below have their status dynamically assigned based
on the data that is received from the trap:

- cpqFcaLogDrvStatusChange
- cpqFcaSpareStatusChange
- cpqFcTapeCntlrStatusChange
- cpqFca2PhyDrvStatusChange
- cpqFca2AccelStatusChange
- cpqFca2CntlrStatusChange
- cpqExtArrayLogDrvStatusChange
- cpqExtTapeDriveStatusChange
- cpqExtTapeLibraryStatusChange
- cpqExtTapeLibraryDoorStatusChange
- cpqFca3HostCntlrStatusChange
- cpqDa6CntlrStatusChange
- cpqDa6LogDrvStatusChange
- cpqDa6SpareStatusChange
- cpqDa6PhyDrvStatusChange
- cpqDa6AccelStatusChange
- cpqDa6TapeLibraryStatusChange
- cpqDa6TapeLibraryDoorStatusChange
- cpqDa6TapeDriveStatusChange
- cpqIdeAtaDiskStatusChange
- cpqIdeLogicalDriveStatusChange
- cpqScsi3CntlrStatusChange
- cpqScsiCdLibraryStatusChange
- cpqTapeLibraryStatusChange
- cpqTape5PhyDrvStatusChange
- cpqScsi5PhyDrvStatusChange
- cpqScsi3LogDrvStatusChange
- cpqSsExPowerSupplyUpsStatusChange
- cpqSsExTempSensorStatusChange
- cpqSsEx2FanStatusChange
- cpqSsEx2PowerSupplyStatusChange
- cpqSsExBackplaneFanStatusChange
- cpqSsExBackplaneTempStatusChange
- cpqSsExBackplanePowerSupplyStatusChange
- cpqSs5FanStatusChange
- cpqSs5TempStatusChange
- cpqSs5PwrSupplyStatusChange

Even though the 5008 trap is not listed as having a dynamic status I verified that it does assign the status dynamically. If the drive condition is not OK then a critical status will be set.
