Homepage is not dispalying information Linux
I am recieving alerts as exopected
I can access the homepage
The hompage does not have server information and there are only 4 boxies in grey- Overall Status Summary - Version Control - Storage and System
Status is green and the other boxes list some sub topics but they do not link to any information
I've loaded the latest PSP and snmp.conf is correct as far as community strings and othrer items I found in an HP doc.
I appreciate any help

Re: Homepage is not dispalying information Linux
Check whether the following are installed properly and the service is running.
1. hp-snmp-agents
2. hp-health
3. hp-smh-templates
If the Version control agent page is populated with all the data, then the above agents are working properly.
Thnx

Re: Homepage is not dispalying information Linux
All the packages are installed and running, except for hp-smh-templates. i do not see any process to start.
VCA is not populated and the log does not see the agents installed.
Do you have any thoughts on this?

Re: Homepage is not dispalying information Linux
rpm -qa|grep hp-smh-templates
If it is installed, then output of the above command will show the name and version of hp-smh-templates.
If the agents are installed through VCA page, only then VCA log shows the installation details.
Thnx

Re: Homepage is not dispalying information Linux
If you haven't come right yet I suggest you look at man hp-snmp-agents.
In my case I found that the /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf didn't have the hp-snmp extentions added, these are usually at the top of the file.
The man pages tell you how to add them.
