Hostname after discovery

Good day everyone.

 

Can someone explain to me what determines hostname after discovery? Doest it depends on DNS lookup (PTR+A)? And only if PTR+A is exist it set FQDN of the host?

yes, that's correct. HPSIM use nslookup to query the FQDn and set that on the node.
