ILO2 Power Manager Authentification
Hello,
in the Power Manager Options I can only add a user and Password for Authentification on ILO2-boards of C7000-Blades, but:
1. Is it possible to use authentification by importing the SIM-self-signed-Certificate in ILO2 (like on SMH), or
2. can I use the trust by name option in ILO2, and
3. how can I script the deployment of an ILO-user via Onboard-Administrator?
Thanks and regards
Rudolf

Re: ILO2 Power Manager Authentification
Hi Rudolf,
The answer is no to all the three questions.
For the first two questions.
Currently there is no way to avoid credentials in the IPM Options page. These credentials are used by IPM to login into the respective Management process to collect power/thermal data.
I do not understand if you have posted the third question against IPM.IPM does not manages iLO users. Just FYI its possible to script the deployment of iLO uset via iLO through ILO RIBCL commands.
Thanks
Deepak

Re: ILO2 Power Manager Authentification
Thannk you for reply,
so I need to add the user to each ILO2 board in C7000 for PMP-Authentification. And because there are a lot, I want to script it via OA (like FW-Deployment for ILO) - if possible.
Regards
Rudolf
