Ignorning Array Accelerator Battery conditions

We have several older servers that the Array Accelerator Batteries will not hold a charge. Management has decided that a performance hit on a disabled Accelerator is acceptable and will not purchase new batteries. Is there a way I could "ignore" this in SIM 5.2?

Thanks, Tom

Maybe. On SIMS, go to Options, Events, SNMP Trap Settings. For MIB name, select the cpqida.mib. FInd the correct alert you don't want, and set enable trap handling to No.

Re: Ignorning Array Accelerator Battery conditions

My mistake, I didn't clarify my request enough. Your solution will prevent alerts from showing up in SIM, however, my problem is that the status of the server in SIM is degraded because the array accelerator battery is in the servers System Management Homepage. I could tell the SMH to not monitor the array controller but then I would never know if a drive went bad. I didn't know if there was a solution on the server side or the console side.
