Incorrect version display in VCA ?
I got this rather strange display of versions in VCA, shouldn't "Latest version" always be the latest version ? How come then the version in the Support pack is newer than the latest version ?
(See the attached screenshot)
Best regards
Mike

Re: Incorrect version display in VCA ?
Hello mike,
Try Deleting the built-in discovery module to automatically cause VCA to fall back to software inventory based on the foundation agent. If VCA is installed on the C drive, delete the
"C:\hp\hpsmh\data\cgi-bin\vcagent\Discovery"
folder and restart HP VCA service from Windows Service Manager. SNMP services must be installed and configured. Insight Management Agents must be installed and configured.
Regards.

Re: Incorrect version display in VCA ?
Hi Mikael Ronnback,
"Latest Version" should be showing the latest verion available from the repository, there seems to be some problem only with that component.

Hi Happy, thanks for the tip, I'll try it out.
