Information on HP SIM 5.1 SP1 and remote SQL Server 2005 databases
I'll be installing HP SIM 5.1 SP1 with remote MS SQL 2005 databases, and I need some information such as white paper. Can someone let me know when I can find the white paper for this? Is SQL Server 2005 supported in HP SIM 5.1 SP1?

Re: Information on HP SIM 5.1 SP1 and remote SQL Server 2005 databases
David, Thank You for the response. I have at least three more questions regarding HP SIM5.1.
1. Is it possible to move SIM databases from one directory path to different directory path and still be able to access SIM?
2. Is it possible to rename the databases without causing any issues for SIM?
3. Are there instructions that discuss the database requirements?

Yes

you will need to change odbc and file database.props the argument hp.Database.databaseName=(name of the new database)
Yes
