Insight Agent not displaying items on ESX 3.5

Hi,
I have just install Insight Mgt ver 8.1 onto one of our ESX hosts (ver 3.5)
Following the installation readme I have a few issues:
1) "snmpwalk -v 1 localhost -c public enterprises | grep hp" returns not values
2) Logging onto https://servername:2381 I get only one area highlighted in green and the others are grey (see attachment)
Any ideas?!

That seems to suggest that snmp isn't configured correctly.
If you search this forum you'll find a number of similar posts along with details/examples of the snmp.conf file.

my snmpwalk was fine, butI had the same "grey" issue.

after running "perl /usr/local/hp/hpSMHSetup.pl" it started to work. I just clicked next on all questions.
