Insight Control for vCenter login interval

I was looking at our logs in vCenter and noticed after recently installing insight control for vCenter that it's logged into vCenter 140,000 times in the last 10 days.  I bumped up the polling interval and that didn't seem to calm it down any...is there anyway to tone the logins down because that's pretty excessive and it's filling up our logs with too much noise!
