Insight Diagnostics Warning: Failed to write to Application Client Log

Hi

I recently upgraded the System Management Homepage, the agents, and the Integrated Log Viewer.

Now when I run HP Insight Diagnostics on Storage Devices, I am getting the following warning: Failed to write to Application Client Log

I upgraded 2 machines, and both have the same issue.

Anyone have any ideas? I am not too familiar with HP Insight Diagnostics, so hopefully it is there simple solution.

- Proliant DL 380 G4
- Windows Server 2003
- HP Insight Diagnostics Online Edition for Windows Server 2003/2008 8.0.0.2587

I am seeing the same thing.

I only installed the lastest version of Insight Diagnostics on my DL380 G4.

I am facing this problem when using SmartStart8.5 bootable CD and HP Insight Diagnostics Version 8.1.5.2890A, after Diag Test all drives passed with following yellow warning:

"Warning: Failed to write to Application Client Log."
"Errors and Warnings for Physical Hard Drive 1, Serial Number: 3HZ9B4GV00007513CDBZ, Controller Serial Number: Unavailable"

Servers are DL380G4 and DL360G5, both same error for all disks.

any idea?

there is no problem at all I mean it is an issue with the latest versions of Insight Diagns

just use smartstart CD 8.0 or previous one
