Insight Manager Download

Is there a current download for Insight Manager? I would like to have the latest version installed on my management workstation if possible.

Also, am I under the correct assumption that I can install Insight Manager on my workstation and manage/monitor my server farm from the workstation?

and yes, you can install it on a workstation =)

Keep in mind if you plan on managing a lot of servers with SIM, running it on a desktop using an MSDE database will probably not yield scorching fast performance.

Yes, SIM 5.0 is the most current version of "Compaq Insight Manager". The version numbers were changed to more closely reflect the actual version of the core insight manager software (or so I've been told ;) )

SIM is compatible with 7.1 onwards
