Hi all
I just upgraded my HP SIM installation to v5.1 and noticed if I click on a server object that I can expand something called "Insight Power Manager".
However, on any server I have expanded this, the only message showing up is "System is not supported by Insight Power Manager"
I have a lot of Proliant servers (G2, G3 & G4/G4p) and Blade servers Bl20p (G2 & G3) but no information is displayed for Power Manager.
Should there be any information there or is this as it should be?
I also found some information about something called HP Rack & Power Manager, but from what I have read, it is only for HP UPS systems (We only have APC UPS/power distribution).
If I install this, will it give me more information in HP SIM (as mentioned above) or has these two things nothing to do with each other?
Some guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Insight Power Manager in HP SIM
I ran across the same thing. After doing a LOT of digging on HP's site, I think this will only work if you have HP UPS's.
