Hi,
My HP server is working with Insight Management Agents version 7.10.
When opening the SMH the componenets are displaying and everythings are reported well.
But after installing EMANATE Agent which modifies the SNMP using port from 161 to 8161 the SMH stops showing the server status. the server becomes unknown.
When changing the SNMP port back to 161 and restarting the service, the SMH starts working well, but my Agent that uses EMANATE stop working.
Is there any patch, fix anything that I can do to solve this out?

Re: Insight management agents stop reporting after installing EMANATE Agent
Hi,
Many thanks, this mail was the closet idea that we get from anyone. We already found it in the CIM 3.2 installation manual.
We already check this work around and from HP point of view this is the answer. After doing it; my agent stop reporting. Is there any way that we can use without changing the SNMP service port (use the 8161 and not changing it back to 161)?
