Integrated Management Logs and Windows Event Log

Correct me if i'm wrong but events that are logged in the IML should be logged in the Windows Event Log?

I am mainly interested in the CPU (temperature) and fan (failed) events.

In what format (Source, Category, Event Id) are the events stored in the Windows Event Log?

I need to be able to read these events from the Windows Event Log, therefore i need to know the Source name and event id used for the events in the windows event log.

I was hoping there may be a guide that defines exactly what events are created in the windows event log and what their source and event ids are.

See "Microsoft Windows Event ID and SNMP Traps Reference Guide" from http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim --> Information Library --> Systems Management Homepage for HP ProLiant

Re: Integrated Management Logs and Windows Event Log

Is there any way of getting the current CPU temperature other then Insight Diagnostics?

i.e. I've got programme that needs to be able to read the temperature at anytime.
