Integrating Dell servers in HP SIM
Hi,
I'm trying to integrate poweredge servers in SIM.
When I select the MIB definition file name as indicated in the documentation (new10892.mib), the MIB variable name list is always empty !!
Any idea please.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eric

Re: Integrating Dell servers in HP SIM
Try to integrate it another time (mxmib -a xxx.cfg), I often had to re-integrate it because I remarked some traps were not correctly recognized and in fact were not listed in SIM.
10892.mib file doesn't contain all the MIBs for the traps a Dell server can generate, especially the drive failures. If you want to be sure to manage all of them, domwload http://ftp.us.dell.com/sysman/dcmib54.exe then compile and integrate all the MIBs is contains.
Regards.
