Issue about PSP 7.60 applied to W2K3 by VCRM

Hi all,
when i try to install PSP7.60 to W2K3 i received this error:
"...cp006502 could not be retrieved from VCRM..." and update was stopped.
I see that in repository there is not cp006502.xml. Anyone meet same issue?

Hi Fab,

This file is actually related to the change log for Emulex StorPort Miniport Driver for Windows Server 2003:
Release version: 5-1.11x1 /6-1.11x1 /7-1.11x1.

Are you using a fibre channel connection for this server as this file cp006502 is something related to the Storageworks Fibre channel adapter kit for Emulex StorPort Miniport Driver for Windows 2003 server.

This gives a support for FC-HBA driver support for the RAID arrays.

In case you are not using the FC connections then delete that driver file from the table when you run the setup.exe for the PSP 7.60.

Alternatively, if you do not want to delete the file, you may want to manually update the driver from here:

The component file names have not changed, but the version has changed.
cp006502.exe version 1.6.0.3

thanks for your help.
Using setup.exe i can update SW without workaround, because CP006502.exe exist in psp-7.60.w2k3.i386.exe.

I've the issue when i use Insight Manager and i try to deploy PSP 7.60 by Version Control Manager Repository. In folder Repository is missed CP006502.xml (all the cp*.exe have corrispondent cp*.xml)

Hi Fab,

It might be listed as a revision of another component with a slightly different name if the component name has changed since a previous revision. If you still cannot find the component, you might want to browse
to the HP Version Control Agent on each individual system and install the component from there.

Not sure why it gives the error and why we cannot find it is through the VCRM!!!!

2 hours ago VCRM has downloaded the file cp006502.mnf from HP site. Now i can deploy without problem PSP 7.60!

Missed file cp006502.mnf was download by VCRM from HP site.
