JAVA errors

I'm seeing the following errors in the mxdtf log file:

Exception in thread "Thread-108" java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.hp.mx.dtf.sshClient.MxSshToolRunner.run(MxSshToolRunner.java:383)
Exception in thread "Thread-110" java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.hp.mx.dtf.sshClient.MxSshToolRunner.run(MxSshToolRunner.java:383)


....can't seem to get SIM to run an system commands on the remote hosts - the process launches then just sits there - no other logging or state or errors.

????

SIM 5.1
RHEL 4U4 w/patches
BL460c as host
