MIBs for HP StorageWorks SAN Director Switch
Hi All,
I would like manage HP StorageWorks SAN Director Switch with HP SIM 5.1 SP1. I'm download MIB files (v5.3.x_MIB.zip) from "http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1143939&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=1143936&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=54" page.
If use "mxmib -t filenme.mib" command, wich list all traps within mib files there is no traps. This heapens for all mib files in v5.3.x_MIB.zip file. If use this command for example with cpqhost.mib file, there is a list of traps. Whay???
Second question:
The .zip file include 12 MIB files. 10 of 12 I succesfully compile with mcompile command. Files "SW_v5_6.mib and INET_ADDR.mib" report an error when compiling. I managed out that those files looks different then other. Some caracters, word, etc.. that I didn't find in any other mib files. Mostly thos differences is in the begining of file. I edit "INET_ADDR.mib" file so, that beginig of file look like other mib files. Then, mcompile command finis succesfully. But file "SW_v5_6.mib" have more errors and I didn't repair yet. Btw, I'm not expert for mibs and documentation don't explain this process.
Is anybody implement HP StorageWorks SAN Switch in HP SIM?
Any advice, idea?
Many thanks in advanced.
Ivan
