ML350p Gen8 and HP Event Notifier

Hello everybody,

in previous G6 and below it was possible to install in Windows system the "HP Event Notifier" and easily configure it to send email notifications about hardware faillure.

For new Gen8 I found "HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification" which only append an entry in Windows Logs.

Of course it's possible to have an email alert using Windows Scheduler, but it need to configure every single ID Event and that is realy uncomfortable.

Is there something like "HP Event Notifier" or I need to use ILO and SNMP, which is not easy on small environment ?

HP Event Notifier is an element of the HP Insight Management Agents package.
You just need to install this.
