hp-ams-1.2.0-782.31.rhel6.x86_64.rpm

Re: Management Component Pack 9.30 for CentOS 6
You should place a ticket with hp, they don't often respond in this forum strange enough.
If you have a phone nummer that could work or look at the folling url

Re: Management Component Pack 9.30 for CentOS 6
HP were uselss when I called.
I am based in Canada, but the server is in Asia - so they passed me though to their asia department and they couldnt help.
I explained that the issue is software related and i have seen the issue on many servers around the globe, but they didnt beleive me - they suspected it was a hardware issue! sigh :(

Re: Management Component Pack 9.30 for CentOS 6
Hi All
With the release of MCP 9.4 this issue appears to of been resolved.
I still receive the un-helpful emails from HP Insight Management Agent with the 00 00 00 contents, but I now also reveive the useful emails too, eg:
Dec 31 01:57:12 MyServer kernel: tg3 0000:03:00.1: eth1: Link is down
10.10.10.65: Enterprise Specific Trap (18014)
Uptime: 125 days, 21:22:24.86
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: MyServer
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.11.2.11.1.0 = INTEGER: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.3.1.1.5.2 = INTEGER: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.3.1.1.10.2 = INTEGER: 2
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.2.2.4.17.0 = STRING: "CPQ07BC"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.3.1.1.14.2 = INTEGER: 4
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.1.2.13.1.1.5.3.0 = STRING: "HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.3.1.1.32.2 = STRING: "629133-001"
IP-MIB::ipAdEntAddr.0.0.0.0 = IpAddress: 0.0.0.0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.4.1.1.6.2 = STRING: "fe80::da9d:67ff:fe1c:c5f0/64"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.18.2.2.1.1.6.2 = INTEGER: 1
So for all those who have the same issue with MCP 9.3, an upgrade is recommended.
Simply тАЬrpm тАУeтАЭ all the HP Packages and install again as usual.
Thanks All
cben
