Managing MSA1000 over the network, possbile?

I have a MSA1000 connected with 2 VMware 2.5.x servers, I have no visibility of the SAN other than the two switches, each have their own IPs which allows me see some info but not the disks. I'd like to see the performance of the disks and know when an issue arrives on SAN/disks as it is in a remote site.

I can't find the right solution, will SIM work for me?
