Can someone confirm that we cannot monitor Proliant DL180 G5 from HP-SIM ?

Why does HP not support monitoring PL DL180 from HPSIM ?

The agents don't install on the lower specification machines. So you don't get the hardware fault monitoring.
You can monitor up/down of the server with HPSIM and it will identify it if snmp has been correctly configured.

I have found you need to install the "HP WBEM providers" on proliant DL100 series to allow monitoring from HPSIM
HPSIM must be configured to used WMI/WBEM
