Move Repository from one Volume to Another

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help me please. I installed Insight Manager 5.1 and the software repository is on my server's C:\

However this is quickly running out of space and I would like to move the repository to the D: where there is 40GB of free space.

I looked around the options but couldn't see how to do this.

If anyone can help me that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Re: Move Repository from one Volume to Another

First thing to do is move the files themselves to D:\repository.

From the SMH on the server your repository
is located you jump to "Version Control Repository Manager" and click on "configure the repository and automatic update settings". First page that opens lets you fill in the directory where the files are located.
A rescan of the repository and rebuild of the catalog will be performed automatically if you change the directory there. If you copy files from somewhere else to your repository you have to initiate the rescan manually (tab catalog)

No, it actually does not work that way.

You have to stop the service first, then move your data, then start the service and change setting as described.
