Moving SIM DB from remote SQL2k to NEW remote SQL2k5
Hi there,
We will be migrating our SIM database from our SQL2000 server to a new SQL2005 cluster which uses a new named instance and has a new server name. Just wondering what is the process for this? I've seen the doco from migrating from local database to remote, but what about from remote to remote?
Do we just have to update some of the properties files, and going from 2000 to 2005? We also have PMP and VMM installed and they have 2 databases in addition to the SIM one.
