Multiple logins to all monitored servers

Hello,

We are monitoring mostly DL380's using HPSIM5. In the security event logs of all monitored servers, there are numerous events of the SIM server logging in+out.
Q: What is the SIM server doing, constantly logging in and out? Isn't it supposed to use its agents or SNMP to get statistics and status?

If you have the WBEM protocol enabled SIM will use the configured WBEM credentials to login aand retrieve WMI data from the servers. It does not login to access SNMP data. If that is a problem disable the WBEM protocol.
