This seems really simple, but...
After autodicovering 25,000+ machines, I would like to delete any I am not supposed to monitor or manage and the rest I would like to organize by type or class of: server, register, printer, Infrastucture device. Can and how do I do these things?

Solution
Within the "System and Events" window, there are predefined classes (printers / network devices etc) of which it classifies them from system properties.
If SIM has not been able to classify a system, you can do it manually by selecting multiple of the same product and setting the properties from options>system properties>set system properties
