No Systems or Events
Hi, I've installed SIM v5.1 w/SP1 and I think it's all setup correctly. I started an auto discovery but nothing came back as an idnetified system, however, if I then tried to manauly put a servers IP address it said that the server already exists!
Please can anyone shed some light on this for me???

Re: No Systems or Events
Check if you have filters enabled, if you do disable them, rerun discovery.
My guess is that SNMP is not configured correctly on the clients and HPSIM has not been able to identify them.
They'll then turn up as either unmanaged or unknown.
To resolve that search this forum as it's a question that's been asked before.

Re: No Systems or Events
Should mention, the filter setting is under Options->Discovery->General Settings
