OMU HPSIMInt & <$MSG_TEXT>
I have installed the OMU HPSIMInt version 1.60 that forwards events from HPSIM (V 5.2) to Operations for unix (V 8.32).
My problem with this integration is that HPSIM seams to forward "Preferred system name"/"Short Name" to OMU (Mapped into the <$MSG_TEXT> variable). Since my OMU Nodes is added with full DNS names (Network name) then the events from HPSIM will not be mapped to any OMU node.
How can this be solved ? Is it possible to reconfigure HPSIM to forward "Network Name" instead of "Short name" to OMU ??

Re: OMU HPSIMInt & <$MSG_TEXT>
Probably you need to check your /etc/resolv.conf for "domain" or "search" option for default domain, so OMU cat assotiate hostname with default domain
For example try opcragt -status shorthostname
