Only want to forward critical or major events

We've set up Insight Manager to forward events to our other management software (as SNMP traps), but we only wanted to forward events with "Critical" or "Major" severity. Here's what we did:

1) Options->Events->Automatic Event Handling->New Task

2) Then in step 2 I selected "Important Events" as the event collection as I only wanted events with "Critical" or "Major" severity to be forwarded. However, I find we are still getting events with "Normal" or "Informational" severity being forwarded.

which version of SIM are you using? You can try directly filtering events based on severity and then proceed with the creation of automatic event handling task.
