Only want to monitor servers
When doing a discovery over the network it is finding everything while we only want servers.
Because it is picking up desktops, i get alerts everytime someone turns it on and off.

Re: Only want to monitor servers
You can limit your discovery to servers by deselecting unwanted ones from
OPTIONS->Discovery and then click on Configure General Settings link. Scroll down and you should be able to make your choice.

Re: Only want to monitor servers
Thanks for the reply.
I tried that but it's still finding everything like Hubs, Switches, Desktops etc.

Re: Only want to monitor servers
You can configure the IP Ranges it uses.
If you've not separated the IP Ranges for desktopns and servers you should consider doing this.
In the suggestion above you would need to ensure the Enable Filters is checked and then select the items you want to be allowed through.
