Hello,
At the customer site, P2V has failed with following error message:
"SMP agent has been used, or another service used"
This message translate from Japanese.
[ENVIRONMENT]
SIM 5.0.1 , DL380G5
ESX server 3.0.1, BL480c
Source Machine : WindowsNTsp6a / IBM Netfinity3500
[SITUATION]
- SIM server, source machine, and ESX server has connected at different network each other.
- SMP agent finished successfully.
[QUESTION]
- What point should we check ?
- Could you tell me what log file should we view ?
Please let me know the log file name and that's path.
Thank you for support and advice.
Best Regards.

Re: P2V has failed with error message.
Hello,
This is myself reply.
According to the customer, the P2V has finished successfully.
The source host's disk capacity is available about 140M, so he has increased 160M.
So the P2V has worked successfully.
[QUESTION]
- Is there any disk capacity requirement for source host ?
Thank you for support and advice.
Best Regards.
/Minoru.
