PSP 8.25A hardware limitations?
Right now I have HP SIM 5.3 set up with PSPs for Windows OSs, Ver 8.25A, set up in our repository. I was curious, since I am new to HP SIM, if there are any hardware limitations to the PSP 8.25A?
What I mean is, will 8.25A work on older hardware as long as the OS is 2003 or 2008 server? Ex. Old ML530s etc?
I am curious if it will break the OS, the install will fail, or it will actually work from pushing it from HP SIM?
Even though these systems have a version of PSP installed, it would be very old and outdated. I am guessing the only way to get it updated to tell HP SIM to do an "Initial Proliant Support Pack Install" which should update the PSP on the servers. Correct?

Great, someone hijacked the shortcut! Alternately you can use http://www.hp.com/servers/smartstart (sorry I didn't check that the previous URL was working).
