PSPs needed after upload to Repository?

After doing a manual "upload" to the repository for a Support Pack, does the original PSP executable need to remain? Can it be deleted to save space?

Re: PSPs needed after upload to Repository?

when u upload PSP to repository, actually it just extracts and copies to repository directory. So what ever you have u can delete but not the one in repository.

bye default will be c:\repository if you didn't change, just you can see yourself.

Re: PSPs needed after upload to Repository?

Well...that poses a different question, then. I copied the actual PSP executable into my repository folder (D:\Repository). I assumed SIM was going to automatically "see" this and use it...not so. I had to extract the files (into the same folder) and *then* "upload" to SIM.

So...I now have the original PSP executable, the extracted files in D:\Repository and then the PSP "uploaded" into SIM (wherever that resides).

I'm trying to determine what (if anything) can be purged out to help save space.
