Problem with HP MP on OPSMGR 2007 SP1.
I have a little problem, and i need you on this one...
Since i installed the Proliant MP pack on my OPS server, i'm having a warning, and a critical issue with one of my servers.
The server is Proliant DL380G4, and in my OPS server console i see a yellow triangle next to the "Realtime Monitors", and a critical icon next to the "Management Processors".
So, i logged in to the HP system managemt home page, and when i started to check the server, i saw a warning (yellow icon) next to the Embeded NEC98431, and it was under the category of "Management Processors", exactlly as i see it in my OPS mgr console.
The question is what is the NEC98431, and what it represents on my server, and how can i solve this problem.?
and, how can i solve the problem i mention above with my yellow triangle.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Nahum
Israel.

Re: Problem with HP MP on OPSMGR 2007 SP1.
Under the HP Agents you can disable the Remote Lights Out agent.
Control Panel -> HP Management Agents GUI.
This will stop the reporting.
Or you can connect the ILO to the network.

Re: Problem with HP MP on OPSMGR 2007 SP1.
First of all thanks for your reply, but i need to ask something, and i decided to write you back.
When i click the control panel, and click on the Management agents for servers, i see in the first tab (Services), all kind of active agents but none of them is the but none of them are the remote ilo agents.
The closest thing that can be matching to the remote ilo is the agent name: Remote Insight Information, is this the agent i need to disable.?
Thank again, and hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Nahum
Israel.

Re: Problem with HP MP on OPSMGR 2007 SP1.
After rob wrote me how to solve the problem, i had a feeling that the agent i need to disable was the one i wrote you, so i did that, and when i saw the message to restart the agents i clicked ok, and that's it.
Problem solved, thanx for the help to the both of you.
Best reagards,
Nahum
Israel.

Re: Problem with HP MP on OPSMGR 2007 SP1.
I am getting a warning status for HP Proliant SNMP Realtime Monitors.
I have disabled Remote Insight Information in ControlPanel --> HP Management Agent GUI.
But still it is not changing its status to healthy.
Anybody has got any idea as why this is happening?
Thanks.
