Problems doing an Online Analysis with PMP
HTTP Status 500
Type: exception report
Description: The server encountered an internal error (1) that prevented it from fulfilling this request
Exception: Org.apache.jasper.JasperException
I've seen a few other threads on this, but no resolution. Any ideas?

Re: Problems doing an Online Analysis with PMP
This may happen in addition to some missing menu options from the SIM user interface also.
Try this.... Should work....
Perform the following steps using the HP SIM repair utility (MXCONFIGREPO) to clean the database, which will allow the menu information groups to load correctly:
1. Stop the HP Systems Insight Manager service.
2. At the command line, type the following:
mxconfigrepo -f
3. Start the HP Systems Insight Manager service.
Hope this works!!!!

Re: Problems doing an Online Analysis with PMP
I've done as you said, and while running the command, it came up with the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\mxconfigrepo -f
Performing repository corruption fix.
Checking possible database corruption...
ERROR: TABLE trapVarbindData KEY trap_rec_id may contain 1 entrie(s) not in table trapData KEY rec_id
Completed database checking with errors, CMS may not be able to run.

I started the service, and then went back to SIM, and tried the Online Analysis, and got the same error back

Re: Problems doing an Online Analysis with PMP
No silver bombs here.....
Seems like this specific issue is related to Java produced by Jasper, the JSP Compiler
Could you check whether the Java application is installed on the server?
If not can we try to install and check?

Re: Problems doing an Online Analysis with PMP
Hi Melanie,
Yes go ahead with that since this is something related to the Java error.
Check this for more information in case you have not referred this:
